Real Self Emotional Healing
A much overlooked aspect of cancer is the emotional state of a person, in particular with unresolved emotion that is stuck in the body. This trapped emotion can express itself through difficulties in our lives and it can cause cancer.
Life is full of stressful events and circumstances... a loved one dies… our company goes out of business… we go through a divorce or a painful breakup… our parents are ill… our pet goes missing... personal or professional responsibilities are too difficult… we fail at important goals… the list goes on.
Loss and struggle are part of life, and we know that. But how we manage these things makes all the difference.
The body will hold on to stress and store it in our organs until we process it in a healthy way.
And here is the danger… this trapped stress is a major cause of cancer.
Certainly, there are other contributing factors in our environment and in what we consume that can cause disease, addiction, and other health problems.
However, at its essence, cancer comes from chronic unresolved stress held in the body.
Amazingly, people can attach to that pain, that guilt, that shame, that grief because it’s familiar, it’s what they know, it's part of their identity somehow.
Can you imagine the difference if you could choose to love yourself more than the source of pain in your life? How would you feel? What would your life be like then?
This is the research of Paul Leendertse as documented through years of his in-person work with hundreds of clients, and documented in his book The Root Cause of Cancer - What’s In a Tear?
The body has incredible wisdom and intelligence, especially when you think of the enormous number of tasks it accomplishes every second of your existence.
It is always working in your best interest. It is always trying to keep you alive.
Yet we must not overload the body beyond its capacity to manage - this refers to toxins, poor nutrition, substance abuse, and most of all, stress.
So, what does this mean for you?
Are there sources of anxiety in your life that weigh you down, that twist your guts, that pain your heart, that gnaw at you? Are you holding on to grief or anger or resentment or jealousy or bitterness?
It may be simpler… something from your childhood that made you believe certain things about yourself, such as you are inadequate or unworthy... things that are not true.
If you seek guidance to help you become clear about what is going on in your life and what you need to do to heal yourself of stresses in the body, we can work together.
Every situation is different. Your path to healing is unique to you and depends on your commitment and actions to face and process stressful situations and past events.
Emotional healing is not a quick fix, rather it is a way for you to build a new reality and new way of living that stops producing disease. It is a lifelong process.
Together we can uncover the root cause of your stress, get to the deepest part of it, and work out the means for you to resolve it - to free your body from its grasp.
